APO – Authorised Persons Only takes the form of a satirical anti-postcard, collapsing past and imagined future into the same landscape. The work reflects on the perpetual promise of progress in post-transitional societies, where aspirations toward political alliances and integration coexist with populism and geopolitical struggles between East and West. Suspended between utopia and dystopia, the image becomes a comment on a future that never quite arrives.
