77 Questions uses a simple Q&A structure to examine the relationship between individual experience and the systems that shape it. Combining found footage, lie- detector recordings, audio generators, and other artificially produced material, the video creates an atmosphere of alienation and unease. Moving between personal and systemic questions, the work reflects on the position and ethics of the artist, while confronting the narcissism, lack of empathy, and capitalist competitiveness of the contemporary art world.
